I am looking into getting an FCR or Edelbrock Eicher series carb for my 400ex. I plan on doing some motor mods and i want the best carb that will bring out the most performance out of my motor. Any recommendations on which carb i should consider buying?

I've had both, the FCR makes WAY more power.

Same here. But the biggest thing I don't like about the edlbrock is the longer throw.

From what I've heard a Warrior thumb throttle works with no mods.

I used both, a grinded stocker and the warrior throttle. The longer throw just wares your thumb out more beacuse you have to push it farther. The fcr has a shorter throw and its easier.

The FCR is an all out bad *** carb, one of my best upgrades.
