Well ok i just sold my 01 kodiak 4x4 and now all i need to do is trade my rancher in or sell it. Then just watch for a good deal for either one of these machines and go look at it and if i like it i will get it.

BUt i wanted to know what do you think would be better for my type of riding.I like all the features about the grizzly but i just heard they are top heavy and i like to speed around when i get the chance. I like the p650 because its kind of sporty but i don't like the driff lock leaver.

But when i go riding i like to hit some mud, go fast, and play around climbing some hills and doing some donuts. But i don't to much mud riding when i come to it on the trail then i go through it. ALso i want the one that will go through deep snow.

i rode a grizz and they may say its fast, but it just doesnt feel like it, and the ride isnt much better than the 650, the 650 def. feels alot faster (i have the p650) and we have had minimal problems with it.. choice is up to you:)

i would get a prarie, my best friends dad has one and i ride it every weekend. they arent that fast, ive only got it going 53mph but i heard they thouch 60mph. anyway i would get the prarie they are just good quads and have massive power and arent that bad at donuts

I think i know the top speeds from both of them. MY cousin has a p650 and had it going 70mph someone my friend knows who had a grizzly said they had it going 67. THis is relly tight for the pick i like everything about the grizzly i just want to know if it is top heavy and roll relly easy. I might go look at a p650 tomarrow see about trading the rancher in on it. Also is there any problems with the 02 p650's?

i would get the grizzly they dont feel that top heavy they are pretty big but there independent suspenion makes up for most of that top heavy feel but like i said i have never rode a prairie i like that grizzly though

ive rode both and id take the p650 over the grizz , here is my thoughts, go out and ride both of them if you ever get the chance and see which one you like better,.. btw the seat on the p650 is a little slimmer

I like everything about the grizzly but i heard it top heavy. ALso like everything about the p650 just i don't like the feel of the seat and the handel bars. BUt i am starting to look at it either one i get is going to be good. BUt i think i would take the grizzly but ni got to watch for what i can get used. There isn't many or any used grizzlys for sale right now so i might just go with the p650.

well two of my good friends started out with a Grizzly 660 when they came out...had them for about a year, then traded them in for the P650. After they had them for awhile, they both agree that the P650 is a better quad all around. They were not fans of the IRS on the Grizzly....too much body roll.

yea dont leave out the rincon. it is a cadilac, my cousins boyfriend worked at a honda, yamaha, and kawasaki dealer and rode them all. he thought the rincon was by far much better.

in the auto tranny mode just when the power starts to come on in the rincon it shifts:confused:  and it only has 3 gears, so its hard to take advantage of the power the engine makes:(

Well i went looking today and found a nice sp500. MT dad relly likes it and says i can get it becaus ethe price is right and thats the dealer who will give us the most for the rancher. THis is a 03 sp500 HO 4x4 with only 240miles. I relly like the grizzly but it might be awhile till i would find a nice used one because brand new around here they wnat. ANywhere from $6800 to $7999. Which my dad says is way to much for a quad.
