Why did you get a 440 kit without an exhaust?

Why not? I ride my 440 with the stock pipe sometimes for noise issues. Even then it still has more balls than a piped 400, and the 440 kit was cheaper than most slip ons.

well 440 kits are expensive, you got buy other stuf with it like sleeves, but i would get sparks full if you can afford, but for slip ons get : T-4 , R-4 , HMF

Make sure you have a good drop-in cam. I would save and go for the full HMF pipe.

Wiseco kit is 170$. That includes all of the hardware. A machine shop charges 100-150$ to put the new sleev in the cylinder. That means 270$-320$ for a 440 kit. That is cheaper than some slip ons, and cheaper than almost all full systems. More power too.

A free hp upgrade is to check and make sure you are getting full throttle. Take the intake boot off the back of the carb. Give it full throttle look in the back off the carb to see that the slide is not viewable. If you can see it, adjust with the adj bolt by the thumb throttle untill the slide is all the way up.
