do they make these hoods for 400s or just 250r's....and what is the cost of one of these? and best place to buy it from

I'm pretty shure that they just make hoods for the 250r. some people cut the 400ex stock plastis and put on the 250r hoods. mayby some people could post pics if you want.

A 250R hood will fit a 400, thats what all the other ones are. The quad tech and carbon fiber are 250R hoods.
I didnt know Maier made a hood, Id like to see a pic and where to get one.

Recreationunlimited.com has the 250R hoods, and free shipping. You can get the stock 86-87 stock hoods, 86-87 hoods w/ vents, or 88-89 stock hoods. They have the best selection for plastic, and free shipping. Rockymountainatv.com has pictures of the hoods, except they dont have the stock 86-87 hoods.
