utility quads

my brother wants to get a quad. he wants to get a utility quad. what quad would be the overall best for mud water snow reliablity and that kind of stuff out of the quads listed bellow.

Arctic cat 500 4x4
Honda Rubicon 500 4x4
Suzuki Vincent 500 4x4
Yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4
Polaris Sportsman 500 4x4
Bombardier Outlander 400 4x4
Bombardier Quest 500 4x4

rubicon. dont get a quest, my friend has the 650 xt 4x4 and it gets stuck all the time....and wheighs way too much.

definately the rubicon...my friend has one & it's super nice ;)

get the freaking kodiak 450 not the dang rubicon its to dang heavy and the kodiak gets through crap and you can whip it around in 2 wd and it has alot of utility and a little bit of sport so its a real nice choice

kodiak or the suzuki. i have the suki and its damn near indestructable...i have been very happy with it

I'll have to agree here, I have a 00' Kodiak 400 4x4 & I love it!! It'll go thru anything & like Yamaha123 said you can whip it around & it is a littelsporty too!! Good luck!!

my friend has a rubicon and it is way cooler/nicer/everything/that whole deal than his foreman 450 ES. it shifts so smoothly, you have another inch of travel, it seems wayyy wider, its more stable, its more fun, you have an auto tranny :) and they go up to 90km/h :D..dont get a foreman 450ES! they ride like a truck. rubicons, kodiak 450s, is what i would aim for....rubicons are tha shiznit

get the rubicon i ride with people that have them they are really nice ive seen then make it through incredible stuff

I ride with a big group of 4x4's and here's what I've seen.

The Suzuki's have the most power for their class....
The Polaris's will go through the goo easier than the rest....
The Yamaha's fit somewhere in between....
And...the Hondas NEVER break down....

So what you buy mostly depends on what's more important to you....they're all good in one way or another.
