help shipping plastic...

i am selling a full set of maier plastic. and UPS says my diemensions are too big. Anyone that has shipped plastic around 250R size (400ex,300ex,250x,250ex) and the rear is what is giving me the real trouble. Also another thing is the fronts w/hood. please help! i dont want to charge this guy a arm and a leg so please help!:(

I got new plastic for my LT shipped via UPS from Dennis Kirk.

I sold old 400EX plastic through the site. I shipped the fronts and rears seperately. Luckily, I had the OEM boxes from the new plastic I had purchased so I used them. It cost me $23 to ship the fronts from Ohio to NY and it cost me $26 to ship from Ohio to S. Carolina. I wound up losing money on the rear fenders because I didn't realize shipping would be that much:mad:

I usually just try to find a big thing of cling wrap and wrap them in that. Ive shipped front fenders for $7
