Where's the 3-wheelers? I saw them on an old James Bond movie last night. Too small for an adult, underpowered and no suspension. Boy have we come a long way since the late 70's!!!

my friend has like a 90 or something, he rides on the back 2 wheels more than he does all three

I have a 1979 ATC110. The gas tank rusted out, so I have an old lawnmower gastank strapped to the handlebar. The tires rotted out, so I put a set of Blaster wheels and hubs on the rear ( the hub actually kind of fits on the axle spline). I haven't ridden it for a while, but my wifes friend rode it a while back, and I told her if it catches on fire, to jump off and let it go..

I have a '85 ATC350X that runs pretty good and the brakes work...

I have 2 '85 ATC250R's, one is fixed up pretty nice, the other is just parts.

I also have a '86 ATC250R, that needs a right side case half. I have all the parts, just haven't had the time to put it together.

Threewheelers are fun, but they are slow, tippy and kinda dangerous.

I have an 84 ATC200, but it needs a lot of work to get it running again. It needs the whole electrical system, new carb, etc.

Me and my friends all have a 185s we run the crap out of. It's been rolled, flipped, and under water many times, still starts on the first pull.

I have a 85 atc250r, lots of aftermarket stuff. I clear the jumps at englishtown and chattsworth. trikes are not slow, can be a bit tippy if you don't manhandle them and I've never flipped mine in the two years I've been riding them. I wouldn't get rid of mine.

damn I wish my dad was that nice, If he was I would purposely roll mine to get a quad. Actually I have one, but its all apart. that guy is huevos is sick, I can do 20-30 foot jumps on mine, but I can't do the tricks and stuff. Its funny he landed one jump and the famous honda ejecto-seat activated. I did it to me at englishtown, I wasn't expecting it, but it was funny. He beat the hell out of that 350x, it looked mostly stock too.

I LOST A 1984 200S AND 1985 TRI MOTO BUT I LOSST BOTH IN A GARAGE FIRE

01-01-2004, 09:56 AM
just to clear things up, the 350x three wheeler is faster then the 400ex stock for stock, the 250/350x conversion i dont know about that, probably would be close..

Hey man, where did you get suspension for that thing? We have a little 1980 ATC 70 and that would make it a lot more fun.

i recently purchased an 83 atc250r. looking for a quad frame to put the motor in though

If I remember correctly the 83r has the chain on the kicker side, most quads are the opposite, maybe the old quadsports had the chain on the right. Its gonna be a dificult transplant you might tbe better off selling it and buying a 250r quad. Besides the 83r wasn't all that fast in the trike chasis(55-60) add 100 pounds to that and it will be slower. something to think about.
