Well i started my bike up today to do some tuing and it decided it want to burn oil, it burns alot until it warms up after aobut 10 minutes it doesnt burn anymore, but for the first 10 it poors out, should i worry to much aobut this, i figured maybe i ahve a few craks in my oiul rings and they dont seal fully until its warmed up. Am i right or do i need to think aobut a new piston and rings? I change oil and keep up on matnece all the time, i usually chage it every 2-3 month usually ever 2 races during season, i raced a year on it and drag raced alot down in little sahara, if this might help.

Check the compression on your quad. If its alright then just replace your valve seals. Bad valve seals will make it smoke when cold and then as the engine is warmed up it will smoke less. If it was your piston rings it would smoke the whole time you were running the engine.

Yeah that sounds like vavle seals. A freind of mine 400 was doing the same thing and his vavle seals were bad

It's definately bad valve seals. My TRX125 has been doing the same thing for years, I just never got around to putting new valve seals in it.
