tell us a little more. i am not sure what your looking for or what your wanting to spend. you could get a je or ross piston for $120 and a hotcam for around $125. this would really wake the bike up. you should be able to take piped z's and kfx's with proper jetting. will this be used for dragging, for woods riding, for a little bit of everything, etc? if you go larger than a 426, then you will need to get a larger sleeve. if you want to run around 11:1 compression or higher you will need to buy race gas and also upgrade your head studs. whatever you do, get a service manual!!

i would get around a 10.5 to 10.8:1 compression ross or je piston. if you want to retain the bottom end power, i would stick to the stage 1 cam. this will give nice gains everywhere, not just bottom end.

sparks400, i would think that combo would take those stock z's and kfx's. i know the compression ratios on the wisecos are a little lower than what is recommended. with proper jetting, i think you will be able to take them. what wiseco piston did you use and what cam did you use?

I just ordered a JE 416 10.8:1 and TC XC Cam this week. I can't wait to get it running.

My 416 takes piped Z400's with ease. At the last Dyno Challenge I took it to. It made 33RWHP. The piped Z's that same day only made around 28-29RWHP. Best $300 I've ever spent.

Ross 10.8 416cc piston - $125.00
Hotcam Stage 2 - $125.00
Boring and ring fitting - $40.00
Honda gaskets - $25.00
Labor(did myself) - Free...Zip... Zero...Nadda
Smoking piped Z's, and some stock Shee's and Rappy's - Priceless

The cylinder must be overbored 2mm. And the rings need to fitted to the new bore. It cost me $40.00 for both from a local motorcycle machine shop.
