The entire 60 mile loop is only passable on 2 wheels, but they are supposedly widening it for atvs soon. We still rode 30+ miles the day we went.

Have you guys rode there before, Jeff? The best place to start is at the bottom of the loop.

I thought it was more like 52 miles

DESCRIPTION: The Redbird Crest Trail is a 52-mile loop trail that begins and ends near the Redbird District Office. The trail generally follows the ridgetops, with some portions being quite steep and rough. Segments of the trail are suitable for licensed vehicles only. Some areas are so narrow that only single track vehicles can drive on them. Please refer to the Recreation Opportunity Guides for specific information, or contact the District Office. The trail is marked with green-painted, diamond-shaped blazes spaced no further than 1/10 of a mile. Trail symbols are used at road intersections and as a reminder. Orange diamonds are currently being added to mark the trail for ATV use. Intersecting trails will be identified with signs.
