Hi, I need to run higher octan in my z400, and i dont really have any way to get anything higher than 91, but i could get Aviation fuel.

would that be fine to run in my z400? or would it be better if i mix it 50/50 with standard 91 pump gas?

thanks.

You will get a lot of diffrent awnsers. I personally run strait av fuel in my 250r and my banshee when I had it with no problems. But unless you have bumped up the compresion in your motor you will get very minimal results. Also av fuel will genarally run a little leaner then a race gas so if you are running a little lean now you will probably need to re jet. The reason for this is Av fuel holds more oxygen with it.

how long have you been running it?

for a 4stroke would i have to add any oils, ive heard it is dry.

have you had any reliability issues?

I have ran it since 98 with no issues at all. The only motor failure I ever had was a blown crank in my banshee but that was after 4 years of hard racing every weekend so It was to be expected. I havent ad any problems with my R so far and dont expect to. I would run a 50/50 mix for you 4 stroke and try it out.
