Why you should always wear a helmet!

This is one reason why you should alwys wear a helmet on your well-known backyard terrain...... Sunday me and my brother were out riding taking pictures since i have got my digital camera for Christmas, and when we were just climbing some small hills of ours trying to get good pics my brother went up one hill and i noticed he went back little more than usually and the next thing i know is he is upside down. He was fine, but this is a good example of why you should always wear a helmet...

Speaking of helmets. My cousin went out and bought a brand new helmet a couple years ago. Well went riding and we were racing he was on a dirtbike and I was on my quad. Well a kid on a go-kart cut out in front of him and he hit him WFO. Well he after he stopped flipping in the air he slid on the ground a good 40 ft. He was skinned up from head to toe. Guess where his 'New" helmet was? Sitting on the hood of his truck. I told him look at it this way atleast you didn't scratch your new helmet.:devil:

i always wear a helmet.....my friends make fun of me sometimes, but hey....anything could happen at any given time. there gonna be the ones with cracked skulls....not me :p

nobody ever plans on having a wreck that is why we call them accidents. I got laid out one time just taking my quad from the trailer to the garage. A limb I had driven under over a dozen times was hanging down a little further and whacked me accross the forehead.

the only time i dont wear a helmet is when im going up and down my drive way.. any other time its ALWAYS on. Plus it feels weird not to have it on sometimes

thats kinda funny, all my friends wear helmates and when i got my new chest protector, they all wanted to wear it..... like they almost didnt let me wear it.... kinda wierd..:confused:

Ok, a gal here at work "HAD" a friend who was out riding his Harley with some friends.... no helmet, pulled into his drive and his buddy was not paying attention and "BUMPED" into him, well he lost his balance and literally just fell over and hit his head on the curb... guess what... dead on impact. Dale Ernhart style. The impact was just right that it snapped his brain stem.


MORAL... DON'T BE A DUMB ***... WEAR IT!!

i consider my helmet lucky because every time i dont wear it, i have a wreck and i get seriously injured. but when i do wear it, i never have a wreck. so thats why i never ride without a helmet
