You might want to look at the Herrman racing ones too. There is a review of them on this site. My buddy did the same thing you did and he got the herrman. Looks pretty nice. Check out the site
http://www.herrmannracing.com/

They are on sale now for 129.00.

I have been impressed with herrmannracing since my brother had it on his 400ex and it felt really good. Then when we got our cannondale we had herrmannracing a-arms on it to. and it felt very good.
They make very good race products

they have really sweet prices to:):)

Get tapered. I was a little worried about getting one at first because you can screw it up when you install it pretty easy from what I've heard, but I love the way the bearings are actually pressed down onto the axle. Very cool design, just don't overtighten it! Also get a double pinch bolt locknut to replace the stock setup while you have it apart. I have the RAD tapered and RAD locknut. It comes with a new billet brake stay. I don't think most of them do, I know my buddy said his Lonestar didn't. I think I paid around $230 for the locknut and carrier shipped, so they are a little more spendy but I think worth it.

I know that the next time my bearings go, I will have to get a new carrier, and I was wondering how in the world do you get that grease zirk to fit in? Looks like you would have to drill a hole or som thing in your swing arm?

with the rad its on the out side of the bearing carrier so you dont have to drill nothing

RAD defiantly makes the best carriers and soon they'll be making titanum axles l

I'd suggest checking the 'For Sale' forum on this site. I bought an LSR dual row carrier from someone for $120 shipped. It works very well and had a grease zerk, also

Im with Rico&Pappy on this one Burgard Cycle Bearing Carriers are cnc machined from top quality 6061-T6 aluminum. This carrier is designed to be twice as strong as the cast oem carrier. It comes equipped with two double row bearings, two dust seals, and a steel center axle sleeve. Also, carrier has grease jerk for greasing the carrier sleeve. Finally, it comes with the carrier adjustment tool.

Price: $150.00

That aint cast but at a cast price:eek2: kinda a no brainer

When mine finally goes, I'll get the RAD. I like where the grease zerk is on it. The others have zerks, but you need an aftermarket swinger to use it properly due to the placement on the the center tube.
