450r or work to my 416ex

What r ur opions on getting a stock trx450r or kepping my 416ex and getting some new shocs a arms and axle and like a cam and head pipe, or selling it and getting the new 450r.

its really up to you. You can either have a nice 416 motor with bad@$$ chassis components or you can buy a 450r with a very powerfull engine.
--depends...if you buy the 450r, how long will you leave it stock?

k well i think if i get my 400 sold and my blaster sold i am going to go with the 450r unless ne one thinks a worked 400ex would be better.

I would totally deck your 400ex out then wait for NEXT years production of the 450's so Honda can work all the bugs out.

I think I`ll wait to see if there are any bugs to work out.
there`s no reason to get one before spring around here anyway.
by the time it is out , there will be 2 feet of snow.
Maybe the 05 model will have an aluminum frame ; I`m allowed to hope!

I am going to work my 416 and rcae it this year and as i get more into racing and they maybe the honda will have aluminum frame and then after a while i will get a 450r prolly, thanks for all of you guys help.

either keep the 400 you spent all yoru time and money or buy a nrande new quad that cost 8 grand

just wait and get your hands on a 450r motor, not the dirt bike one because i believe it only has 4 gears, and the new 450 should have 5, but jsut wait to get it and stuff it into your 400ex frame, after that im sure they would be close in performance if you hade some suspension mods

ummmm..... the CRF450 dirtbike has a 5-speed same with the TRX450R.
the YZ450F dirt bike has a 4-speed and the WR450F has a 5-speed same as the YFZ450.
