Sounds like some BS to me. Claims to add 12.5 to 13hp

ye sI really doubt it gives it 12 horsepower gain...if anything I have heard that dual exhausts take away power from when you just have one of them but they still gain some power over stock. This sure does look like a nice little system with it coming with a new aluminum airbox & everything :eek2:

i actually have a friend with that, and it does have quite a bit more power, but not at all 12 or 13 hp. more like 6 or 7 with filter. You have to make sure with that, that you adjust the carb, to make it have a good fuel to air mixture. there is a lot more air flow with that, and therefore you need more fuel..

Yea i was going to say there is no way you can get 12hp from just adding dual exhuast and a bigger filter!

sure does look good, but i would rather have more power with a proven exhaust system. $699 is a good chunk of cash, but it does come w/ an airbox

no it doesnt add 12-13hp its a typo..on the lte site it says 2.5-3hp
i was planning on getting one for my 400..its not bad a deal cause it comes with the new air box because the battery is in the way of the 2nd pipe..from what i hear its a pretty damn good system...

yeah, you are right. there are a lot of people that wouldnt even think about changing the jetting after buying a pipe. but, you wont get your money's worth from the pipe until you do adjust jetting.

So what do they do? Relist it, fix the description but don't change the title

The hp gains that the guy selling the pipe is claiming is from the Raptor. The e-bay seller is not related to LTE in any way, except as a resaler! The Honda is putting out an honest 2-5 hp gain. The Raptor is putting out a 10 hp peak gain, and somewhere around 13hp in the midrange.

Oops sorry the horsepower gain is 10hp less than stated
For $700 i'd want a hell of a lot more power than that.
I wonder if they make a kit for my DR field and brush mower :D
