How can I mount a winch on a 2003 300ex?

Please withhold smart remarks about sport quads and winches....I am going to mount a winch on my 2003 300ex...anyone here done it yet? thanks for suggestions?

I havent heard of anyone on here doing it, but you could make your own mounting plate and mount it too the 2 tubes above the bumper with u bolts

actually I think there are winch kits out there specifically designed for sport quads.

yeah but thast not for a 300ex, its the utility 300

Thanks for the replies, I could not buy a winch mount universal or not for a sport trax 300ex SO I MADE MY OWN. Time + Home Depot = WORKING WINCH ON MY 300EX -

And BTW the winch is only 14 lbs..so it shouldn't affect ride/handling.

It looks like Ya did a nice job! I would like to put a winch on my 400, but I don't want the added weight when jumping.
