I ride the LT more, I had it a couple of years before I got the Raptor. Love the power of the Raptor, just never felf comfortable on it. I dumped a ton of money in to the LT last spring, looks like I'll have to put a little more in it... :(

Thanks, It hasn't been on ebay... yet! I bought it local about 5 years ago, it was completely stock. I like it, but if I hadn't just put all that money in to it, I'd have a YFZ instead. I'll run the LT another year or two. The raptor is on the chopping block for now. Take care, be safe!

Me no like cliffs... :( I almost screwed up big time once, went FLYING up this ash pile that I never went up before, thought it was flat on top. My sixth sense kicked in right before I got to the top, I nailed all brakes... It was an 80 foot drop on the otherside! I went a little airborne... :o Too steep to control it and stuck it in a trench at the bottom, doing a perfect flip over the handle bars. I know it was perfect from the standing ovation bystanders gave me... :rolleyes: Unfortunately I've done many more stupid things since, as rider11x's film archives will prove... :blah:

BTW, Yes I went on my first training ride with Mountain Dew Racing Rick yesterday.............I think he was trying to kill me! We Mtn Biked 10 miles in mud!the bikes would not roll more than 3 feet without pedaling in low gears. I never new there were muscles inside my knees that could burn so bad.:eek: But, in all fairness, I told him to motivate me to want to do this and he sure did................This had better make me faster!:D

Dan yup the 1st big hill on the course outa the creekbed~i had GREAT momentum for it then the guy in front of me hesitated at the very bottom so i swerve around him and was basically outa controll the whole way up... but i was soooooooooooooo close:mad: trees actually tried to dodge me from there on out:D

You know that raises a good point, she is ultra competitve on the cart track, but she don't understand why I get this craving for woods racing!:rolleyes: I warned LTRider that she is very competitive, but it must have fell on deaf ears because he looked VERY shocked when he got spun out in a corner 180 degrees, and saw my wife passing him with a big ole grin on her face!!!!!
I am one of the few guys you will meet that loves to pit for friends racing. I go to the point of bringing a well equipped toolbox and allowing the rider to not need to worry about his machine, and concentrate on eating, getting gear on, and getting mentally ready. Just the way the Pros get treated!
I do have full intentions of doing some woods racing this season. I feel really comfortable with my 400, and I have wanted to do some GNCC's for years. Life is short, and you never know what is headed your way, so I am taking the oppritunity to live out a dream of mine. My wife understands my reasoning and will go along with it, even if she does not totally agree with it. We are like that for each other, never hold each other back. That's the kind of things that makes her so special.;)

I felt sorry for this guy on the Mojave. He never made it up the first hill at Crawfordsville. He flipped 3 times on this hill before finally going to the by-pass. second moto sucked! i got third out of the holeshot and a damn z400 nailed his brakes, i hit into the back of him and he accelerated and it picked my front tires right up and stop me on my grab bar!so much for my second place in moto1:mad:

nice pics! Did you get your Frame replaced? We did ours with an 04 Frame... Ours is getting a modified Cam and Weisco piston in the middle of Jan. a sponsor wants the head sent to him ASAP but I dont know if were ready for that just yet....... Def let me know how those shocks are, Im sure they will be plush!!!:macho

no i havent got my frame replaced yet, i welded it and it seems to hold up so far, i do want to get it replaced thouhg! mine is still under warranty. what did u do ith urs,,did they replace it for free??

They send them back the original frames, our dealer welded ours till the new one came in for the MX series. our buddy had a TLD Predator and found out today his boke in the same place ,but is out of warrenty 3 months ago, I think they will replace it, but charge for install prol. They have been VERY good about taking care of the frames..:)
