i am getting reaady to install a 11.1 piston in and was wondering about my valve clearance if I should be worried about it at all my buddy had one in his quad and he kept bending valves

High compression pistons have deeper valve reliefs, so hitting a valve won't happen.

me and my friend both put hi-comp pistons in our 300s. we had no problem with valve clearence except when we had his 180 out.

you should be just fine if the piston you have is made for the trx300ex. if you were bending valves, you could have had the piston in backwards or it may have been the wrong piston.
