Ohlins Shocks from Cannondale

Will they fit a stock 400ex? What modifications would I need? Thanks A lot

i have LT moto shocks on my z400 which is the same a a 400ex i belive. you need new upper bushings which run $7.95 and u need one for each shock. then you should also get them revavled. if you call pro piliot they will hook you up with the bushings and revavleing at a great price

If you get ohlins off a cannondale (except moto) you just need to change the bushing dont need to revalve because both shocks are 16" eye to eye but if you go to a kfx then you need to revalve the eye to eye is 16 1/4.

would the Ohlins be better than stock? I want an upgrade in shocks but can not afford to spend much. Thanks

yes, they should show a definate improvement over stock. and when the time comes that you want to upgrade, you can add rezzies and dual rate springs to them
