just got 400ex maier hood for the 300ex

well i finally got it now i just have to mount it does anybody no like some sort of directions on a way to do this i no it mounts rite up on the mounts in the front end but the backi heard u have trime? if ne one has done this please help

Alright here it is in order...i'm not sure if the 400 hood will line up as good though..

Take off you tank cover and hood..

Lay the hood and line it up to see where you will need to bolt it/drill

Drill all the holes and bolt it down without the tank plastic or anything on..

eye up the tank plastic and trim it too fit...

If you need pictures let me know and i'll go take some in order...

hey man thanks alot yeah pitures would be good the thing is the front flares on the hood that hole is like 2 inches from the 300ex bracket

well i came up with a solution for mounting the maier hood(racecuts) for the front mounts on the front end of the quad i took the normal hardwear that maier give you and i connected the 2 and it raises the width from the brack to the fenders by like 4 inches whih is perfect

if u dont understand what im saying ill get pics later
