i wish everyone would quit complaining about the hp diff........its real simple if the trx had the same compression as the vfz the hp #'s would probably be the same.:( :(

it has 42 horsepower, that is what it is, i dont know where people have been getting numbers like 63hp...even though that would be awsome.:)

The 42hp figure we've all read about must be at the crank.

Per HMF dynos (the ONLY dyno posted as of yet), that equates to approx 35 HP at the wheels.

Granted, this is ONE source for this information. No guarantees that HMFs results are 100% accurate, or inaccurate. We'll need to see 3 or 4 other sources of this info to confirm the #'s.

Hey Guys, some Guys claim 50 + h.p. from Z400s and even EXs so I think I will ignore the dynos charts.

I only trust people who arent pushing a specific product or brand with dyno numbers. Who is to say they aren't putting a hair dryer to the atmosphere sensor? When have you ever seen ambient temps and conditions on the factory's charts. How hard would it be to seal up a room and raise the pressure inside 3 or 4 psi? Don't believe the numbers until you get them yourself or from someone who you know gives consistently accurate information with no bias.
