stock is 38, so if ya want more top end go lower on the rear. 36 or 37 tooth depending on what top speed you want

with 18" rears, prob need to go back to the 15 and run a 36 rear. if you ran the stock 38 rear you might could like a 16 up front

I've read on here that changing the front sprocket 1 tooth up or down, is the same as changing the rear sprocket 2.5 teeth.

Maybe this helps??

With the 39 on the rear and a 14 up front this is more or less what will be achieved.

- 14/39 no performance whatsoever with 18's Rediculous!

- 14/39 limited acceration but close gearing and a strong 2nd gear hill pull with 20's. Good pull on hills in third. Still somewhat close gearing.

- 14/39 Good overall performance for the trails and hills with 22's especially with stock internals.

the reason the first two combo's have an adverse effect on acceration is that you enter into and then leave the torque curve to quickly.

Mount up your 18's with stock gearing 15/38 ..then assess your needs for gearing changes from there. Change one variable at a time.

Acually I am running 15/39 with my 20" razor-2 as of today. Just testing....
