I just ordered a set of powermadd handguards off of eBay. Who has these? What do you like/dislike about them? Do they install easy?

I got a pair, and I love them. Pretty easy to install.....Air tools will make it a lot easier. They keep your hands really protected, and a lot warmer. Hope you like them;)

but does anyone know for sure if the snowmobile mounting kit would work...here is a FAQ off of powermadds site....Who knows if this will work...

PRODUCT: Star Series Handguard Mounting System
How does the Snowmobile Mounting Kit differ from the Motorcycle and ATV Kit?
The mounting brackets in the snowmobile kit are perpendicular to the handlebars when mounted, whereas the motorcycle and ATV brackets are bent and angle the hand guards away from the ends of the handlebars to allow room for the clutch and brake levers. Also, the throttle side bracket for the snowmobile kit is much different so it can be mounted next to the throttle lever. Click Here to see detailed pictures.

ATV 14252x

they seem to be more of a roost and elemet protection than the traditional "barkbuster" type like cycra is. How much of a barkbuster function do you really need with a quad? how often do you bang bars with trees and such?

Hey guys I just talked to the seller and he has an ATV mounting kit in stock so hes sending them out to me. Picked them up for $45 shipped :D :blah: ....retail on these is like 59.99 for the mounting kit and the handguards.

I have a pair and like them allot. You are right they do take another mounting kit for the atv. How well they will hold up when a tree hits them is questionable. They may not take allot of abuse from the trees though. They keep the hands warmer :D

i didn't like the way that pappys mounted in the pictures so i'm goin with acerbis flag mx lite... very small... but enouf to take the roost off ur hands... i hate it when a rock hits off ur knuckle:grr:

i think acerbis flags are 9$ for the mount kit and 29$ for the handguard
