Brand new still in wrapping Maier add-on fenders

I am selling Brand spankin new, still in the wrapping, obviously never mounted, Blue maier add-on fenders for a 99-04 400ex. The add-on fenders were just purchased this week from maier for $90.00. The reason I am selling the add-on fenders is because unknown to me my parents bought me a set of maier black plastics for christmas in other words my loss is your gain.

add on ? what do these do ? are they for shaved fenders and you put these on to have ful fenders again ?

If you have race cut fenders but you dont want to get a load of mud in your face you mount these giving you full fenders for as long as you want and then you can take them off to go back to race cut. Here's a picture of what they look like mounted:
