I am still in the process of buying a FCR 39mm carb from a guy. I am getting it at a really good price. My question is, 1) How easy is it to jet this carb? 2) And this might be a dumb questions but, Will my k&n jet kit for my stock carb work with this one, and if not where do I buy ones (jets) that will? 3) What throttle are you guys running with yours? 4) Cant think of anything else. Please get back to me on this. I want to finish the deal tonight. Thanks guys.

Changing the jets are just as easy as it is on the stock carb. No I don't believe the K&N jets will work, not for sure though. Just go to the Honda shop and get Keihin hex jets. I think that they are the same ones as used on the 250r. I am running a thumb, just get a cable off a Forman or Rancher. Gabe has the part number for it.
Any thing else?

What size jets are you running ( Main, Pilot)? How much do they run and also how much is a throttle cable cost?

The cable is only like $15-$20. I am running a 178 main and 48 pilot, but I am still playing with it. Jetting in the winter with these up and down temps / hummidity can be a pain. Jets are only a dollar something a piece.

I'm running a 168 main and 52 pilot

Get the throttle cable for a TRX400 (utility quad).

Look up the part number on partsfiche.com

Main jets are the same as the stock carb, pilot jets are different
