How to ship a Frame?

Ups told me my box was to big to ship my 250x frame. can someone explain to me how to ship it or box it up? Thanks

they took my blaster frame when i bubble wrapped it.

I had a frame for my LT shipped to me UPS. It didn't have the rear grab bar, which would've made it too long, and it was just wrapped in plastic wrap.

the ups guys was probably to lazy or couldn't lift the box up so he said "no deal"

ups will not ship it if the outside dimensions are to large.

if the frame is being sold or sent to be coated to someone....take the frame unboxed to ups. they will attach a laminated shipping tag to it and away she goes.

yep. i recieve 9 out of 10 frames in this manner. When i send them back i have to properly protect the coating that was applied and i use shrink wrap, bubble wrap and cardboard placed in selected areas to protect it. I havent seen one instance of damage when the frame have arrived un-boxed.

when i shipped mine to Pappy i just taped a piece of Cardboard onto the frame and then UPS will attach a label.

Ok thats a big help thanks.....well id like to atleast blastic wrap it for the guy so do you know where i can get it at? THanks

Staples would have shrink wrap, or do you know anyone that works at a store, just get them to wrap some plastic around it.

i sent my fedex -ups took mine then it sat there for 2 days -before i called and asked why i couldnt track it -they told me it was to big and the lady at counter shouldnt have taken it in the firts place :grr:
