ummm... didn't you get TWO pairs??

My present was... a note from Santa. Hold on, I'll read it to you. Ah, here it is... "Dear LtandRaptorider, and what the hell kinda name is that? My guess is your parents hated you more than I do... but I digress... anyway, since you've been your usual a-hole self, you're getting the same as last year, another nice big box of go f**k yourself." Hugs and Kisses... Santa. P.S. out of curiosity... why do you have price tags on everything??

Hows about that! I saw 2 things wrong with them already :
#1 : no tread on the ball of the foot , where the foot pegs touch.
#2 : they are not even broke in yet!
We are going to have to break them in right!

P.S. here is the pic of what santa gave me again this year:

Well, #1: No problem on the tread thing, just refer to my thread on DeRisi footpeg extenders. They should do well!
And on #2: We WILL get together and do some riding when this weather breaks, or sooner. I'm having withdrawl symptoms! Is it normal to wear your riding gear when sitting on the couch watching GNCC's?........................Ok, what about the motor noises?:D

Christmas just hasnt been the same for me since the mother of my children passed.... about 6 or 7 years ago i was throwing the net out and my wife was trailing the net, we snagged reef and she was thrown from the boat and got tangled in the net, she drowned before I could get to her, my children never knew her, I'm just thankful my new wife is here for me and my children, that is more than enough christmas present for me, takes my mind off the years following the accident, heavy drinking , dwi's ...etc, I still blame myself, but only with god can you be forgiven.

Happy Holidays to all!:)

nope, uses your current internet connection. I didnt opt for the WiFi but if I had it, I could go around to places that have wireless internet available (ie starbucks, schools)...but I'm never around WiFi areas...and it eats power up fast. I just keep mine in the cradle or use a wire to connect it via USB.

WOW Santa was good this year.

My wife said since I gave her a baby, she bought me and my 2 yr old son Spencer.

A Lionel H.O. scale train set consisting of 14 cars and two Burlinton Northern engines. geez this is going to take my whole downstairs up.

My Dad bought both me and my brother about $7,000.00 in Snap-On tools with Matching boxes.

Plus Santa brought an LRD Alum frame, ARS-Fx a-arms, complete Axis shocks, and a whole bunch of new bling blings.

And I was even a bad boy this year.

Happy Holidays to all!:)

I hope you know I was trying to lighten the mood with my earlier reply. As far as the years after the accident, drinking the pain and guilt away works well for some. I know quite a few fishermen since I live in Alaska; they all have similar painful stories. One of them watched his wife be eaten alive by an Orca, another had his fiance' on the boat with him and they hit a storm. She stayed with the boat and was sucked down by the suction as it sank. He tried to reach her, but he can't swim and he didn't want to jump in off the life raft. He never believed in life vests, still doesn't; and believes that her death was for the best.
Another friend watched as his wife's leg became tangled in a crab pot line and as it was launched over, she was yanked off into the frigid waters. By the time they pulled the pot back up, she had been eaten pretty good by King Crab. Peace be with you, I hope your new wife is a wonderful mother to your children and brings you much happiness as well........:)

also one of these will be here this next week......Weisco piston:This piston fits stock bore, but lighter than stock. Improved dome shape with 12.5:1 compression. Designed to be used with stock engines, but has valve relief for high lift, long duration cam. D looks like its Race gas from here on out:confused: .... Also a vortex CDI and Cam..

Wiseco arent exactly correct with those compression ratings...Id say that would be about 11.5:1 in real life

Id use a 50:50 mix of premuim and race gas though

Id use a 50:50 mix of premuim and race gas though nope, that # is pretty accurate actually......;) and race gas is no longer an option. Its now Required or the motor will fry with all those added..... Also in stock from, its around 11:1 already.....:eek2: :D

Although my parents picked it up so it was kind of like a present ;) .

My g/f got me an O neal helmet with 2 pairs of warp star goggles, one racer pack.

My parents gave me 4 bills and a couple shirts.

I got about 300 from the relatives combined. My grandma gave me money twice because she can't remember anything lol. Although shes now living with us so it's pretty fair.

I'll be buying myself some new wheels/tires to stud for my Dale tomorrow and a D&M kit as soon as I get ahold of the guy. After that maybe an FMF Ti 4 for it.

another refresher... after seeing rider11x yet again tumble backwards down a hill... "Hey Marc, you ok?"
"That's it, I'm f*****g done, going home!" " Bent my f*****g steering stem!" Alright, at least you're ok, beacuse no way can I haul your big @ss outta here... I'd have to tie a rope around your ankles and drag you out! Reminds me of the time on the farm when I found one of our horse dead in the barn. Had to use the tractor to pull it out and drag it around the field to bury it. Went to neighbors to borrow their backhoe to bury it, but the backhoe wasn't running. Had to call a guy to come out and pick up the carcass, so had to drag the horse around back to the barn. Neighbor asked me what the hill I was doin. I told him I was trying to pull-start my horse... :eek2:

reading through this thread ive seen a few things that really pissed me off. im not saying any names but ive seen a few people that said their christmas sucked. thats bull chit! we have people on here that have lost family members found out they have cancer and who knows what else. you people are pissing and moaning because u didnt get what u want. hell, you should be thankful that u have a family to wake up to in the morning and a family who cares enough about you to get you anything at all. my sorry *** dad didnt even bother to call me on christmas much less get anything. actually, he did get me something. it was a card that had pictures of his son and wife in it with no words at all, not a "merry christmas" or "kiss my ***" or nothing. all he was saying is "look how happy we are without you". i had 4 years in a row where i didnt get a damn thing for christmas from anyone but my paw paw and that was 25 bucks. you think i went around and told everyone my christmas sucked? fu(k no i didnt, i was happy as hell that everyone in my family was actually getting along for once. if all that you care about is getting stuff for christmas then maybe you should reevaluate ur life there guy. thats pretty sad if thats all that matters. and if anyone thought i took that to far than im sorry. but i really took that one to heart thinking about all the people that didnt get anything for christmas or the people that had something bad happen in their family over the holidays. well i hope everyone has a good new year! later

That's good, don't hold anything in. ;) Sorry to hear about your situation, that truly sucks. Sounds like you have a handle on how to look for the good things, and believe me, that's something good to be able to do. I think a lot of people get caught up in their own lives and don't think about others having it much worse. I'm always happier to give, than receive. Merry Christmas! :)

Easy to say from where your sitting, you know how I spent the christmas after my wife was killed?

I dropped my kids off with my mother, went to church, then I began to drink and drink, The drunker the better, Just indulging myself in my pity, no one could make me feel better...I left my house, I don't even recall where i was going, at around 2 am,4 :30 i wake up in the ditch, blood all over huge cut in my forehead, a broke nose, broke wrist, broken jaw, My fishing equpiment scattered all over, from that point on i wandered in and out of conciousness,I was waiting to die, i couldn't move, 25 degree weather around 4-5 am... Well, someone passing thru, thank god! luckily called 911 ...I was charged with Dwi, and several other charges the first of a series...

Hows that for a christmas! Luckily my children were not old enough to recall the whole incident...Just be thankful Your not in the position this holiday that i once was!

thats what im saying, that these kids are crying because the didnt get the half the world. to think they got what ever they did and there are people out there that have no family to spend christmas with much less give them anything. im 15 and dont have a job right now so i dont have alot of money to buy people things, but what little i did get them seemed make them pretty happy. hell id rather just see them smile than get anything at all. im not going to lie to you and say that i dont like to get stuff gifts but seeing some1 happy that usually isnt (seems to happen alot around here) is plenty for me. i dont know about anyone else on here but i dont think thats how i would want to spend my christmas. thats pretty cool that you are able to talk about what happened the way you do, most people couldnt do that. im glad things seem to have gotten better for you man!

for christmas i opened a package that had an original dealer show print of the 450R and a sheet of paper the dealer gave my parents to put in the package that said" TRX450R PRODUCTION DELAY

the initial december release of the trx 450r will be postponed until january due to a production delay at one of our parts suppliers. As a result, the initial release of one unit per dealer will now reflect a january 28th estimated ship date on your weekly order statement. we expect production to be back on track by the end of january. we apologze for the inconvenience this may cause you and your customers.

Regards american honda motor co inc.

They run both, pretty much the entire track. They go into the road course at turn one and come out at the end of turn one, then all the way around. I think the round track is about 2.5 miles long, and the road course part is about 1 mile long.
You dont realize how steep the corner banking is at Daytona until you try to walk it. You almost slide down.

It was not even cuss words. just real politically incorrect.
they do not like rednecks in todays society , and used me as an example.

So , now I get to be just another , workin for da man!
The mid level management Is really put out , I was the guy that did what it took to get the job done , and not by saying " thats not my problem " , or " thats not my job "

I was the guy that spent the majority of the day making sure all was going well , and making sure there was a list of things to do when the job was done.
I kept the contracts lined up , kept the office people busy suplying me with contracts , and got them out the door!

The mid level guys were freaking out , because nobody else could do what I knew how to do.

They said I was the guy who would start in the pocket and run the ball to the end-zone.

Yeah, unfortunately, management is more concerned today with Diversity programs, than getting the job done. My boss loves to surround herself with kiss@ss sycophants... She really idn't appreciate when I pointed out to her one time that her micro management style is counter-productive. We have monthly safety meetings which have to start with a diversity message. So when it came time for my group to do the safety meeting, I volunteered to do the diversity message. They should've known something was up. Now my people know me like many on here do, I like to joke around and make light of things. Yes I have a serious side when it's required. So I stood up and said this months diversity message is this... Never send a woman to do a man's job! There were a few nervous chuckles, and the stick up my bosses @ss grew more rigid. Yeah, I knew better, but wanted to make a point. I'm not a chauvanist, just showing my diversity in making a joke. I was later given a verbal reprimand by her, my first ever reprimand in my 20 years of working. I'm probably only still there because I'm a hard worker, and like yourself, they know I'll get the job done no matter what it takes. But I'm sure she would've liked to get rid of me for that! hehe I still think it's funny, and volunteer at every meeting to do the diversity message! fookem if they can't take a joke! :blah:

Thanks for the compliments guys! I try to get everyone to have a good time, and it's hard to not have a good time with your quad riding buds! We all pick on each other like only good friends can, and only understand the enjoyment we get from riding the way the quad riders understand.
Happy and safe New Years!

It won't be long and we'll be racing and riding again!

the new rob zombie cd
white hanes t-shirts (how romantic, eh?)
and a stupid toy
...a die cast 250r that he saw in meijer 2 months ago that i have heard about non stop....i went to meijer 2 days before christmas and couldnt find the stupid thing...when i wrapped the above mentioned gifts all i heard about was that he wasn't getting his toy 250r...so i went to four different toy stores, and then on christmas eve i found one at meijer...but its ok b/c he got me diamonds so everything is fine (even though he went way over the budgeted amount we set for each other, but i'm NOT complaining!)

George Foreman grill is great but its a pain in the @$$ to clean up! (That's why I strongly believe in the 'I-cook-you-clean-up' mantra :D ) I got the big one too. I'm about to make us some salmon on it right now.

We found the die cast R at Meijer in South Bend, IN and Michigan City, IN. It's blue and the same company also makes Arlen Ness die casts, and they are displayed all together.

And our wedding is July 30, 2005. We have been engaged since Dec 15, 2002. I can FINALLY say that I am getting married next year. I wanted to be all finished with school before I got hitched :p Plus, we'll have been together 5 years by then - it's going to be quite the production, the wedding, all the groomsmen are riding up on their Harley's. I can't wait!!! (I'm sure all of you LOOOOOOOVE hearing the details as much as Brian LOOOOOOOVES thinking about all the wedding plans...so I will shut up now :macho )

yeah they are riding up on Harleys. our wedding & reception are at the same place. He is bummed because he wants us to ride around on the Harleys after the wedding - I say after the reception when we head to the after-party. Big dress + Little Harley Seat = Train stuck in the belt, rims, ran over, etc. He has a Z-28 too :) But it's stuck in the barn until he gets the MSD fixed. Not all the groomsmen have quads, but that idea has crossed our minds, pulling up on quads. So for now they're just gonna be loud loud loud pulling up - I will definitley know when they get there!! :p
