I am going to get a 4'' over swingarm for the wifes 440 and i would like some ideas on what works for some of you and what you had to pay for it.We will also be getting a new non o-ring chain so any ideas there will be appreciated also.

Go +2. I had a +4 and for anything other then dragging it was annoying as hell. With the +2 I can keep the front down fine and it still rides and handles well for casual dunning.

Non-oring chains are not the best choice for dune use. They require much more maintence.

I've got a +4 and I use it for hill climbs and trail riding and I love it.

I have a +4 Lonestar on my 400EX. I love it!! It makes the quad look awesome! It is a whole lot better for climbing hills and even on the trails you only notice a little extra for turning but after she gets used to it she won't know a difference. I gave $525 for mine thru C&D Racing here on the website. It has skid mounts, banshee chain guide mount and even comes with pivot bearings. But if you keep an eye out you can pick one up on EBAY cheaper.
