hot cams stage 2 work best in ?

what does hot cams stage 2 work best in ? cuz i got 01 400ex and i only dune ride quads.....and i heard stage 2 is top end power UPHILL, and i need extra power up hill. But i also heard their not made for stock engine.....i have t-4 slip on, getting k&n air filter, jet kit, and degree kit . Would the stage 2 work for that... ?

it would work, but the bike would probally not have the kind of powerband your looking for. if you put in a 10.8 compression piston or higher, i would suggest it. if not, i would run the xr400 or stage 1 cam at most.
