hiper fronts

i was wondering if the hiper front rims are as good as the rears. i want to get a set of front mx tires/rims and i think i may wait until i get the moeny and find a set of used hipers with mx tires instead of .190s so i dont have to buy a new set next year when i race. im just wondering if they are as good as fronts because i know the rears are awsome. the only reason im not saving for the rears first is i got a good deal on some rear tamers with .190s and ill just use them for this year because im not racing anyway, only training. if i got the hiper fronts i would just save and get some rears next year. i know it would look alittle weird with the front hiper/rear chrome but id get used to it for the year. so what do you think, get it over with and get the front hipers before the rears or get .190 fronts to match the .190 rears then get the hipers later on next year. btw anybody got a picture of front hiper, rear chrome rims...thanks alot and hopefully you understand what im trying to explain

They arent as necessary as the rears. Without beadlocks in the rear the rim will bend or the tire tends to fall off the bead. Fronts you dont have to worry about as much, for a beginning local racer .190's in front would work. But if you want to play it safe go ahead and get them. It wont hurt anything and they look sweet!

When you slide the rear end around the tire moves so it can bump off the bead. And when you jump it will bend .190's from the impact.

The front doesnt slide around as much as the rear so you dont really have to worry about that. And the rear end absorbs most of the impact so they wont bend in front.

So the bottom line is, you dont really HAVE to have them BUT you might want to get some just incase.

hey man thanks alot, i think im just going to order some klaw or razr mx fronts on .190s this winter, practice with them this year and next year, then when im 16 and ready to race, ill invest in some rear hipers since they are alot more necessary then. i dont think i really needed the front hipers anyway, i was just so caught up in the looks. i can always get them after the rears are bought too. thanks again roostin

running rear hipers and .190s is stupid looking but i may have to do that too if i buy walsh a arms. not enough money, lol. But if you run rears, try to run fronts.

yea well if i have to run a season with the .190 fronts it wont bother me too much. justin, i think you should go with the walsh there sick i was thinking about it before.

You could always paint or pc your front rims black to match the hipers.. that looks pretty cool:cool:

ya that does look pretty tight...my friend did it on photoshop to c what it would look like...pretty trick

yea...you should PC the fronts Black....that would look sweet if you can't afford the fronts too.

I believe you are talking about the bolt pattern.
I think Honda's are 4/144

hey thanks, that helps alot..i think that is what ill do.when im 16 and ready to race ill get some rear hipers then get the fronts pced black until i get front hipers
