aprilia, the respected italian moto manufacturer, is building what could be the ultimate high performance atv motor.
displacing 450 cc, the liquid cooled, 77 degree v- twin four stroke will use single overhead cams, four titanium valves per cylinder, a redline at 14,000 rpm, electric starting, all matched to a 4 or 5 speed gearbox w\ a hydrolic clutch. called the 45.v2, it will be fuel injected to keep emmitions under controll. to keep the engines weight down the central casing will be made from aluminum-silicon, and the sidcovers are magnesium.
the dimentions of this twin cylinder engine are in fact smaller than single cylender engines on the market presently.according to aprilia. " every single engine component has been optimised not only for performance , but also for quiet running in order to meet the sound level limits currently being proposed for the sector. equal attention was also paid to limiting poluting emmisions.

that would be hard to get a air route to it... i think it would be easiest in a C-dale frame with the air comin from the top...

It was a successful debut, it finished the race without blowing up. Excellent results for a prototype.

Yeh if i hit the loto i would get that and put it in a Frame maybe like a c-dale frame it would be sweet !! but just think how expensive the parts would be to fix it .. wait a couple years and maybe they will have parts out for it .. My friend is saying in a few years after they get all the bugs out and stuff and it will be a good engine and just have to custommize it into a qaud frame and there you go a perfect TT motor  Well Let me know on any info on this engine although im broke but i would just like to know about it thank's guys
