Duncan Racing 450...

i talked to this guy named glen from duncan who built a 400ex into a 450 ex..does anyone know much about this machine? i am going to get it, but i haven't got it yet...i am suposed to give him half the money on jan. 11 at the banquet..does anyone else have a 450ex, and how does it run?

it is everying you can possibly do to the 400ex, besides making it a 465..everything done to the 450ex, can not be made much better or faster keeping it a 450...It is not a trx450r

I don't know about your machine. But don't give someone half the money. Tell them it's either all or nothing.

i see this guy at every race i go to, and he is friends with my sponser..I know the guy, i am just giving him half the money ahead of time, so he doesn't sell it...then i am goin to get the rest of the money to give him, when i get it..it is a $2700 motor...he build sicko's old 440, and before that he did his 416, and then he just did my other friends 426...we all race for ronnies mail order. the motor is a brand new 400ex motor, never riden, then bores and stroked, ported and polished, and i can't think of anything he didn't do to it. It bolts right in with new exaust, and new carb, and airbox

I'm just trying to help you not get screwed. You shouldn't have to put more than $500 down as a deposit.

ok, so i should not give more than 500 down on it...it is like a thing were once i give him 3/4 i can pay when ever i get the money. cause i am suposed to be sitting with duncan racin and ronnies racing at the atv banquet, and that was when i was goin to give him money...but i should not give more than 500?

austin. i'm just picked up a used jug off ebay. i would be willing to sell the old jug. it isn't in bad conditionit has one over bore left. you could get a .89 piston with 11.0 compression and heavy duty head bolts for a good prices. it would be cheaper than buying the 450 engine. any would have about the same engine. i wouyldn't spend all the money on a out dated motor. when your still still would pull any of the new quads.

hey dave...whats up? I don't want the jug, i have some help from some people that didn't want to have too many people know what is goin on..so PM me if you want to know what i am talking about. But lets just say that i am not paying for all the motor. i have to pay for only 1/2 of it, and some "crazy" people are helping me out. But we well be getting the axle, hopely before we you go to fl. call me, and i will see whats up tomorrow. and come to get it or something
