Hey Guy's...a special thanks goes out to Baldwin Motorsports for lending us the new Honda 450R last Friday so we could start on the new exhaust systems. Both the full system and slip on have been developed and are now on the dyno this afternoon. So far I can tell you that there is a 4 HP increase with 10ftlbs of torque with the slip on and it's using a 122 main jet. No word on the full system as of yet. You can see all of our finding on our website later this afternoon. We will be shipping the new system as early as next week. It sounds like these system are really going to rock.

Thanks,
Kevin

122 main jet? isn't that a little low? my 400 jet w/out the airbox is 148? what colors are these things going to come in? i'm debating on either this or the White Brothers Carbon Fiber.

I was just going to say that a 122 seems pretty low. That is the stock jet for a 300ex.

So far the 122 is the main jet with our slip on. Colors are not yet known, but I'm sure that candy red is one of them.

4HP? Thats impressive for just a slip on...but whats more impressive and often over looked or not even reported is the torque... 10lbs!!! I like that! Make that thumper a true lugger...

I also agree about the mainjet being small...are you sure its 122? If so, why do they use such a small jet?

I hope I'm not late in asking what the total horsepower is w/ the slip on? Can you tell us, or is Honda keeping those #'s a mystery for now?

You guys are forgetting that it has a 42mm carb, that flows better than an ex carb.

Nice pipe. The Bill Ballance pipe is the best I have ever seen! Great job on that.

How do the YFZ and TRX compare on the dyno with the full exhaust?

Looks like the 450 is putting out only around upper 30's as far as HP.

Is that before or after the pipe?

Biggest thing is on the carbon one it has the internal mount setup. Plus the carbon just looks sweet.
