View Full Version : Yet another slip-on/header question!

Hey guys, I am selling my 01 kx 125 and getting a 400ex in the near future. Here is the question.
I plan on getting a hmf or t4 slip-on at first. However I plan on getting a 416 kit/cam within the next year. If I go with the slip-on and get a fmf power bomb/ some other different header that will fit the slip-on. What type of difference in power will there be from getting a sparks or ldr? How much difference is there between getting a slip-on and a header or a full lrd or sparks full system?

i haven't used the powerbong before, but i bet there is a very very minimal gain when putting it on. i personally would just buy the pipe that you want now so you don't regret what you did in the first place. there probally won't to a ton of power increase between pipes on the ex, but the sparks and lrd should rise to the top when that bike gets in the higher gears

I have read about a lot of peoples powerbongs cracking in half...personaly I would just get the Curits Sparks X-6 if I was you:)
