Quiet Core and Power

I have been browsing past threads but did not see an answer to a question I have.

How severely does the quiet core affect power output, and has anyone done any testing on this subject. I have a W/B slip on with 10 discs and a quiet core, but was wondering would I be better power wise running say 6 discs and no quiet core? Your thoughts are appreciated.

On a stock motor you will have to try it,but I dont think you will see more than a half a HP one way or the other. On a built motor the quiet core will kill it. Iam going to be testing the LTE pipes on are 500z and 470 YFZ to see if by doubling the pipes (duels) we can keep good power with out the noise.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to modify the power core to help with power while still keeping the sound level in check?
