Can anyone tell me, is it possible to paint OEM fenders with good results? How is it done, and with what type of paint??

dont do it. I have yet to see anyone do this with good results. After one ride, either the scratches or just bending the plastic will chip off the paint...then it really looks like arse. I'd leave it as is or buy new plastic.

The only one Ive seen that looked well and held up well was done with lexan paint and lexan clear coats. The paint is made to be flexible unlike your ordinary paints. They are actually intended for lexan remote control cars witch really take a beating and bend the bodies severely. But again, Ive only seen it done on one... but his survived pretty good.

the cost of doing a good paint job will be a lot more than new oem fenders so just go out and buy some new ones.
