This is my before and after. Its still work in progress… its just been so long since I started that Im starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is what it looked like when I first bought it.

Things that were done..
Original DG nerfs where cut and rewelded to my liking.. end result well see for yourself..

Frame powder coated Charcoal gray.
Multiple parts powder coated Mirror silver with clear over them.
New bearings everywhere.
New handlebar clamp.
New seat cover made by jettrim. The people that make Quad techs seats for them.
New shiny blue plastic with 88-89 hood.
Flat black stock swing arm.
Rear shock rebuilt by shock thearaphy in Brea, CA .. reroated the canister to a hidden area under the seat.
No more air box… This bike only sees SAND and sometimes dirt.
No gas tank cause its in the apolstery shop getting a custom cover made. Its just going to slip on and its going to be held by the side plastic,seat and gas cap.

just to keep up with the tradition of bashing a sick quad if it where mine I think I would of gone with a hood :)

It does have a hood....its called "stock":D

I like it, not many people use the stock looking plastics

Thats a quadtech seatcover....they run about $150

ah good observation but wrong.... This seat cover is made by jettrim (www.jettrim.com) they make the seat covers for Rath and QuadTech at a wopping price of $110 compared to $150 from quadtech.... :devil: they make them in any color combination with multiple designs stiched in.... Nice quad man, Whats in the motor? Watch for water on the seat cover, those seam to collect water easy..

I would say that quadtech is a look-alike since these people are the people that make the seat for quadtech and quadtech just marks them up....

The stock 88/89 plastics were always the best looking. I think that is one pimp machine.
