I just bought a used pair of ohlin tripple rates for my 250R for $350. They were just rebuilt for a 170lb rider and im 180 with gear. How good a reputation do these shocks have and will they be able to handle serious mx? Thanks. I had works tripple rates w/o rezzys on my 400ex and I wasnt too happy happy with them. Are ohlins much beter than works?

Yeah, Ohlins are better than Works. I rode a banshee with triple rate ohlins and it was a smooth ride. Dont know how they compare to elka, pep, or tcs though.....

ive riden ohlins that felt as good as any of the top named shocks out there. if they are properly set up you should be very satisfied with them.

I have a set of ohlins and i really like them. My buddy has a set of TCS shocks and i can notice a little difference between the two. But his are brand new and my shocks havent been rebuilt in two years.
