hey i have a 400ex and i am gettin works suspension in a few months. i dont really like the blue color of the shocks, no offense, so is there a way i can get them powdercoated too look a little nicer on my quad? and how hard is it to take them off?

the springs come off fairly easily. back off all the pre load and compress the spring....remove the bottom retaining plate and then slide off the springs and shims.

Your works may not be blue when you get them. I think they have different colors for diferent spring rates. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You can contact pappy on here or check your yellow pages. I believe you'll need a spring compressor to remove the springs.

well if i get them powder coated will this effect anything? will it chip?

Nope, They'll be just fine. Chances are, they came powdercoated stock.

I know Pappy is kinda the resident powdercoater here, but if you would like someone else to do the pc at a fair price and as much bling as you want, one of my sponsors does a dam fine job. If you're interested, shoot me a pm and I'll hook you up!:)

works offers blue,white,or black springs, you can use these colors in any combination :D
