i'm sure it will work for a while, but they are a little longer than 300ex shocks and the valving is completly different, so you would be much better off sticking w/ a 300ex shock

I actually stopped the project of putting the 400 in the 300 and put the 300 back in it and now I blew it up so I am going with a CR250watercooled beast. Heay also have 250r A Arms, so if the shocks are longer that is alright.:D

Bascailly any shock thats out will work on any quad as long as you can grind or add washers to them.

My rear shock from a Warrior will fit in the top mount on my 400ex. Im not sure if it will fit in my 300ex but i'll see.

All you kids are mickey mouse. Why dont you build something proper instead of half assed.

Use the proper shocks that go with the a-arms. Sure the shocks might bolt up nicely, but it doesnt mean it will work good. The valving will be totally off and it probably would be better with the stock shocks. Why dont you go with a complete 250r/400ex front end then a mixed frontend. I can guarentee you the complete front end will work better.

I never said anything about doing stuff half assed. I just know from my experiences with switching Honda and yamaha parts around.. not saying that I use them b/c all my parts go with the correct bike. Oh and we put a set of Works Warrior shocks on a Blaster and everything was spot on:eek2: So if im mickey mouse you must be dumbo:confused:
