250x pipe questions [Archive]

i have a 1988 trx 250x and i was wondering i had a peice a shyt cobra full pipe and the head pipe is broke so i want to put a white bros e-series head pipe with a hmf slip on. i was wondering if the hmf will slip on to the white bros header easily. and will i have to jet the carb? and what size jets if i need them should i order? thanks a lot

yea the pipes will fit togther and yes your going to have to jet your carb. and just buy single jets from cherry hill honda or power sports ;)

if you dont mind spending some money, get a curtis sparks pipe. i run an X5 on my 250X TT bike and it makes the most HP!!

What did that pipe cost you and where did you buy it? I am also looking for a pipe for the 250x in my sig and was thinking about going with the sparks or hmf.
