the boys wanted to walk the property this mornin...so i took my camera. look right over the boys shoulders.

Looks really good Pappy. My dad, brother and I were hunting mushrooms this past season and Dad about stepped on a baby fawn that was just a few days old. It was neat being that close to one. He was just kinda hiding under a fallen log, and dad just happened to see him.

at my old place it was 10 steps on one side...about 30 on the other. thats why i had to go. i couldnt take it no more. i wasnt gonna watch my kids grow up in the neighbors yard:(


as i type this i have 6 kids runnin round the house. only 2 are mine...lol i have become a pretty good babysitter too:huh :D i like watchin kids just have fun...no roads or speeding cars. no wooring if the prick next door will get mad because kids are being loud. hell they can set off a bomb here and noone would say a word:cool:

bucks are scarce this time of season around here. damn near everyone hunts in this area and normally bagging a buck isnt a problem. thats one reason why there are so many Doe's here. up to about a year ago bucks where the only ones being killed. now hunters have been better educated and the doe's are being harvested

Sounds like Kansas. We have too many doe but the state has done a decent job the past few years influencing hunters to harvest a doe instead of a buck. Doe populations are starting to decline and buck populations are starting to increase, but obviously it takes a few years for the real results to show.

theres a shat load of deer around here even though I never go (don't have licence :( )

Nice pics Pappy! They're so good I almost ran to get my rifle...you got some good looking deer and some future EX'ers there I see. Good stuff man.:)
