Come check out the Hangover Harescramble on Sunday Jan 4 at Budds Creek MX Park in Budds Creek, MD.

The harescramble track will incorporate woods, the MX track and the Flat Track....should be fun and fast. (They actually groom their woods course) making it very fast!

This traditional race has been moved from its former location at Antietam MX in MD due to land use issues, but it should still be a great race.

For info go to:

see you there!!!!

ex kid, I would say the course is about 6-7 miles. I think it is a district 7 points race. Classes are usually A, 2 stroke B, 4 stroke B and Vet.
Mooseracing, I hope they mark the track a little better than in the past. I raced there several times last year and found myself and plenty of others, off the course more than once. The last time there, they added time to my last lap because someone saw me off course, which I was, but only because I was following a pack. I got pointed out because I run my number plates. If they would have taken the time to go through all riders times and see who was off course, the standings would have changed in all classes. It was unfortunate for those of us that did pay for our "short laps". I still had fun but it does take a little away from the competitiveness of racing. I was there and paid to race to see how good or bad I am in my particular class. I know it is hard for the promoters to fairly straighten out those controversal races. So, I would say to the promoter.....please take the time to mark the course a little better for those of us that concentrate more on trying to get better and faster than deciding on which way to go at an intersection out in the middle of unfamiliar woods. Thanks!

Rick....prepare for a fast wide open track....a lot of high gear pinned sections. Budds doesn't have the woods sections like Tomahawk.
See you there!

mooseracing. i had a couple of friends who rode there recently. They where allowedd to ride the woods and track. THey told me it was going to be very tight and that it was goign to be hard for quads to pass. i rode the HS course twice with a crf450 and never felt it was tight. not even in the "cut" trench like paths in the woods.

PS. where do you guys park? i like to parkin the back to the left hen entering the premises. that way when i am tired i can jump right out of the course where the little bermed right turn is right after the start.

Nice little rainshower we had this morning. What do you guys think the conditions are going to be at budds? Also, they start racing at 12pm. I presume the bikes are first and the quads start at 2:30 or something right?
Who here always does the parade lap? i dont go fast enough to bennefit from seeing what the track is like so i usually dont do the parade.

when they do the mx, circle track, and woods course the parade lap is usually just a lap on the mx track. it's going to be a muddy race. i'll be there but not racing causing i wrecked pretty bad on tuesday and might have a broken wrist. i'll be there cheering you all on.
