are the Douglas red label .190s worth the extra cash. i want somthing that is very resitant to bending and dinging. the ITP wheels i was looking at where the T-9 .190's.

yea dont get anything less then .190 . if u can pick your self up some stock rims they are the strongest besides a beadlock;) ;)

I weight the 2 rims
8" douglas .190 3 3/4 lbs
8" itp .190 3 1/4lbs.

The douglas wheels seem to be a bit beefier.

In the past I ran Douglas .190's and had a few problems...coulda just been me though. I switched to ITP T-9 .190's this past racing season and have been very impressed. Just my personal opinion, but I will stick with ITP from now on.:)

are beadlocks actually "stronger" against bending or do they just keep the bead locked down tighter on the rim.

The beadlocks are definatly stronger

dont get a reg. .190, the egeds seem to bend easy. get a rolled edge wheel, they are much stronger

down my shop i was looking at the newer ITP rolled edge .190's. its a nice wheel and cheap at cost.
