Well I got $6500 to spend on a quad and I know I can get a pretty decent race quad for this price . I want soemthing basically set up for Motocross and ready to rip . Right now I'm looking at a Lonestar framed 250r with Laeger a-arms and swingarm , steering stem . PEP shocks ( not long travel) RPM axle and a bunch of other goodies . The pics of the bike look really good and he seems to be an honest seller . He's also willing to cross the border and save me a lot of customs hassles . I was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions .... Who else on here has a quad for $6500 thats setup for MX?? Do you guys think its worth staying with a 2stroke or should I get a 4stroke ... and No I don't wanna wait until the TRX450 comes out .... just don't like the looks of it . Let me know what you guys have or think . Thanks

I just bought a Cannondale and am really impressed with it. For 6500 you could get the Moto and be ready to run out of the box.

Id love a Cannondale but living up here in Canada we have no Cannondale dealers or anyone that stocks parts for them ... It would be a total nightmare and a long *** wait to get parts comming out of the USA . It wouldn't be affordable . But I wish I could get one ... id be the only one in the area with one

Yea, or a Yami 450. But I would go with a a recently built r/ or 450 chasse (sp) bike. Look around, dont buy the first bike you see. Gte long travel too!

Save another 2500 and buy my full pro production Z440.

Take $1500 of it and consult someone you trust (and has experience) in the stock market. If you invest now you should easily be able to make a minimum of $500 by late February. Get lucky and you'll double your money. So by the time race season is right around the corner you now have anywhere from $7000-$8000 and you didn't even have to work for the additional money.

Put it in a moderate return investment, then apply for zero interest credit and buy the quad on credit. Make your payments on time and you will be making money in the long run. It is a gamble though if you can't make the payments on time for any reason you are screwed.

their is a used yfz450 for 5000 bucks. You could get some a-arms and an axle and pipe with the other 1500. Then buy you some nerfs and some 18 inch tires and u would be ready to go. That's the best option in my opinoin
