I like the traction you get with the Razor 2's and the ground clearance. They are also extremely durable. I can pound on those tires all day with no flats. The only thing I noticed about xcr's is that ground clearance isn't the greatest.

I havent ever rode a bike with Razr's so I could be all rong, but most all XC'ers have them, and everyone on her usually says they are REALLY good. They have great durability, ground clearance, and AWSOME grab. I would say them, then the ITP's. But I have had no experiance with them.:ermm:

ground clearance = tire height, not tire type.

Your statement about tire height would be true if I haven't had a razor 2 20" sitting next to an ITP XCR 20". There is almost 2" difference between the 2. This is some of the reason they changed the rear tires for 03. Now if you said 20" XC's then I would agree. Even there the Razor still sit about an inch taller. I say it is your own preference personally.

ya razr2 tires are the best of the best...i was asking the same question u are right now...finally disided over all of them and buying some razr2's...think of it this way...u r riding sunday and it starts pouring down rain saturday...u r running itp tires...are u gonna win that race with those tires...probably not...sure the itp may get a lil more traction on hard pack but what if it is a lil wet...the razr2 will rip them up to shreads...plus the razr 2 tires are super strong and are very durable and long lasting with their huge treads and great tread design...dirtwheels did an article for a tire test and the razr 2 was rated A+ for mud and wet terrain and a B+ on dry terrain, if you want hard pact go with the razr2 front and the razr rear it picked up an A+ hard pact dry rating and a B+ on the mud and wet terrain

The New XCR 3's from last year are the same height as Razor 2 rears, just narrower. The old XCR's 20inch were shorter. The tallest of all of the 20's is the Holeshot XC. The XC's though seem to wear out quickly. I think when they are new both the XC and the razor 2 give similar traction, but as they both wear the XC's fall off. The XCr's are great on flat fast tracks. I think of them as tall MX tires. The razor2 or XC's are the only rears that seem to work in deep mud. Fronts good luck??

I'd add the Holeshot XCR 22" and/or Razr 2 22" rears to that list. They come in handy when you need a little extra ground clearance (rocks, mud, etc).

I actually am not a huge fan of the 20" Razr 2's under normal conditions. They have a bit too much traction for my taste. My personal CC setup is 23" XCR's in front and 20" XC's in the rear. The regular 20" Razr rears are nice as well. The only thing I might change is going to the Razr 2 22" in front. I'm really liking the way they look.
