Works shock spacers

I just installed and test rode my new works tripple rates. the little spacers on the harder rate springs were moving freely on the shock body and making some noise. It is only doing this on one side. Is this normal on these shocks, or are they supposed to be secured on the top?

Yup that's common,,and they'll extend out to full travel and make some noise too,,nothin to worry about,,just get a louder pipe and you won't hear them noises anymore...:D
