would it be worth tradign a 2002 400ex with some extras and a blaster with some extras for a 1986 250r with many mnay extras. ne one ever ride a 250r how do they ride r they nice and r the reliable.

maybe if the R had everything...including an aftermarket frame, or you could sell both and get a 450r;)

i would only trade if the 250r is very modded (aarms/ swinger/ shocks/ axle/ motor mods) or is in GREAT shape and your 400ex-blaster are in decent condition (not brand new conidtion wise)

yes 250r's are reliable if you take care of the motor (change oil, clean airfilter and airbox every 2-3 rides)

to me the 250r is still the best machine ever made. it is still competing with todays new and advanced 4strokers even throughout 17years of abuse put on them.

id check out the R you plan on trading with... ride it for awhile and make sure you like it. i fell in love when i bought my hagger'd R (wasnt in the best of shape, and mostly stock) and now a smile comes on my face when i ride it now, after i modded it out for mx

id do it if your situation fits the one i stated above...

it has houser +2 a arms elka tripple rates with ssd with ressies, 265 port and polish kit, lone star axle v fore rad cage and v force reeds fmf pipe, new fenders, tag t-2 handle bars and lots lots more. the blaster and 400ex r in ok shape the 400ex is onyl 5 months old it was bought in 03 as a 02 left over i just want a r cuz i figure they r better for racing then 400exs.
