I know this might be a stupid post, But what is your favorite all time car in the years 69-87, an what set up would you have on it.

Have you all heard of a GNX grandnational,Thats my pops car :D

Or a 69 Shelby GT500KR Conv.

Both Black of course.

I guess I would take a Boss 429

hard question, but I think the above would be my favorite car of those years. They only real car worth looking at from the 80's is the GNX IMO. To me, late 70's to mid 80's are dead years for sports cars...

i've got a 70 shelby GT500


buuut my fave cars are
67 GT500 (i've liked this car before gone in 60 seconds came out and made people think they all look like gay elenore)

also i like the 69 mach 1 with the 428 in it and a boss 302 spoiler.

also there was no 69 GT500KR convertable. they only made the KR in 68. my dad one (yes it was a convertable too). actually he had his 70 he has now and his 68 at the same time but decided to sell the 68 before i was born. i'm pissed now, cuz the KR convertable is the most valuable of all the shelby's!

i like the late 60s GTO. the grand nationals are the only 80s sports car id own.

mine would be the mercedes uni-mog's or a 75- through 78 toyota fj-40's...............best vehicles made for off-roading all time! or even a nissan tj-5 i think they are kalled..........extremely rare!:devil:

Do you have a pic of the ZL1 Vette? I have never seen one, and I have searched.

Mine would be:

69' Camaro Z28 302 Orange/Black
69' Camaro ZL1 427 Orange
70' Chevelle LS6 454 Black/White or Red/White
70' 'Cuda Hemi 426 Green
70' Mustang Boss 429 Silver
71' Road Runner 440 6 bbl Green or Yellow
87' Ramcharger 360 4x4 Black or White

I'd leave the muscle cars stock (except maybe some pipes/cam to get them to sound just like I want), but on the Ramcharger I'd lift it about 6-8 inches (suspension) with some 35" mudders. Some engine work too, nice loppy cam with Flowmasters.

nice car. My buddy had one of those...can remember what year it was, but it was a fuel injected model... 2002tii I think... had a bunch of stuff done to the motor and suspension..that thing handled like it was on rails!

the thing is kids who didnt know car accept ricer cars would pull up to us in slightly modded civics an what not.An the GNX kind of looks like a sleeper in a way to them I guess.lol my dad bet some kid like 100 bucks he could take him in the qurter even if he gave the kid a little lead.We won an the kid took off an never paid.Love that car.Ill get some pics. We also have a 2001 Trans am ram air with some stuff done to it.
