Too Lean?

i would like to know if by removing the choke off, and drilling out a 1 1/8th inch hole on the air lid will lean out the bike to the point where i would need to do any jetting reconfiguration? or would i be able to just reposition the needle on the slide up or down a notch to make up for the diffrence??

yeah, you will probally want to rejet. do you have too?? no, but it is probally best unless your rich on jetting right now. you may consider using a 40 or 42 pilot jet unless you already have one when removing the choke. i find the needle clip to be best in the 4th position in the colder months. in the warmer months, it is too rich there. your mainjet could change by modding your air box lid too.

YEA, I HAD PREVIOUSLY REJETTED WHEN I DID THE K&N, AND THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. I CANT EXACTLY REMEMBER WHAT KINDA JETS I PUT IN.... IM ALMOST SURE IT WAS A 148.... BUT NOT POSITIVELY SURE... ILL BE TAKING IT APPART HERE IN ABOUT AN HOUR
